- Tandem Band saw (Double Saw) is the name given to the system which is created by synchronous operation of two separate band saw machine. Tandem means one after another.
- When the logs loaded into the carriage, it comes to tandem saws, two timbers are cut in one carriage pass due to 2 band saw machines position of difference. Different cutting sizes can be achieved by doing so at once.
- The first Bandsaw, which is close to the operator, can be position inward or outward. Meanwhile second band saw is in fixed position.
- 75 kW (100 HP Optional) 2 Motorized bands have wheel dust scrapers and lubrication system are controlled from the operator's cab by remotely. The system is designed according to the universal working conditions. Optionally, it has the possibility of single operation without tandem.
- Band saw flywheel diameters can be produced in different diameter as 100cm / 120cm /140cm ( 39.3’’ / 47.2’’ / 55.1’’ ) according to the capacity demand of the company.
- Bands are safe and suitable for cutting large diameter logs due to their ergonomic design. Beams, wood or pieces of log removed from the cutting from the tandem by the "large belt system" that is on the second Bandsaw machine. This precaution is vital for work and personnel life safety.
- The daily lumber processing capacity in the carriage + single band system increases by 90% when the ”Tandem" system is preferred. “Tandem band" pays for itself economically in a short time without operating costs, area and additional personnel expenses.
